Inside Strictly’s Emma Weymouth’s VERY glam life, from holidaying with Lady Kitty Spencer to playing with meerkats at her zoo
IT WAS announced on Sunday that the glamorous Viscountess Emma Weymouth is the latest famous face to join the Strictly line up this year.
The 33-year-old mum-of-two will be waltzing onto our screens this autumn and is sure to bring a touch of class to proceedings.
Married to a Viscount and counting Princess Diana’s niece among her best friends, it’s fair to say that Emma leads a luxurious existence. Here Fabulous Digital take a look at her very stylish life…
EMMA’S ANIMAL KINGDOM
When she isn’t foxtrotting, Emma is busying herself with real animals at her home of Longleat in Wiltshire, where she lives with her husband and two children.
Emma is married to Cawlin Thynn, the son of Alexander Thynn, 7th Marquess of Bath, which means the couple are entitled to some pretty swanky digs.
The Elizabethan house on the Longleat estate sits inside Longleat Safari Park meaning that Emma counts sea lions, giraffes and lions as her neighbours.
She previously said: “Not in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be living in a safari park!
“It's a bit Disney, [but] I feel so lucky and happy to be where I am, I need to pinch myself.”
ROYAL CONNECTION
Those going for an Insta-stalk of Emma may see a familiar face crop up in the form of Lady Kitty Spencer.
Princess Diana’s niece, 28, is firm friends with Emma and the pair can often be seen rubbing shoulders at London’s most exclusive venues and even enjoy weekends away together.
Emma regularly refers to Kitty as her “bestie” on Instagram, and she makes just as many appearances on Kitty’s Instagram where the bffs were even spotted twinning, stepping out in matching Dolce and Gabbana ensembles.
GLAM MAMMA
Emma and Cawlin have two children together, four-year-old John and two-year-old Henry who make regular appearances on her social media.
The Viscountess previously referred to herself as a “cookie making machine” when it comes to her two sons who she admits she is always whipping up sweet treats for.
They may have cravings like any other youngsters but her two sons already hold their own titles, the Honourable John Alexander Ladi Thynn and the Honourable Henry Richard Isaac Thynn.
Henry was born via surrogate at a private clinic in West Hollywood.
The couple opted for a surrogate after Emma suffered a brain illness during her first pregnancy in 2014 with doctors warning a second child could kill her.
CAREER GIRL
Emma is and English chef, model and philanthropist, who is a brand ambassador for Fiorucci and has modelled for Dolce and Gabbana.
She also runs her own lifestyle website and has an online show, entitled Emma’s Kitchen and counts herself as a contributing editor of British Vogue.
Emma actually trained as an actress for a year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and according to the 'was nearly cast for Game of Thrones.'
But Emma decided that she would be better as a presenter thanks to her “unique look.”
GORGEOUS GETAWAYS
Despite splitting her time between London and Wiltshire, juggling several jobs and acting as mum to two sons, Emma still finds time to get away.
The mum enjoys luxury five star breaks on the reg and has in the past three months alone visited Marrakesh, Siena, Athens, and Cannes.
