Gucci’s latest accessories collection includes £205 knee pads and a £400 visor – and shoppers are very confused
ITALIAN fashion giant Gucci has unveiled this year’s must-have fashion items – a £400 hat with a welder’s visor.
And trendy buyers can also splash £205 on cricket knee pads, but shoppers have been left seriously confused.

The firm is also planning to release a pricey pair of gold metal shin pads later this year.
Fashionistas can add to their zany look by splashing out on a pair of giant silver Elton John-style platform shoes for a whopping £870
The firm’s website says of its crazy headgear: “A houndstooth hat with yellow transparent visor and black leather trim.
“Accessories are brought to the forefront of Gucci's hybrid design narrative as conventional shapes come together to create new and unexpected pieces. Crafted from felt, the item walked the runway at the Fall Winter 2019 fashion show.”

Their knee pads come in black and cream and would-be buyers are told: “Taking cues from the ‘90s trends, kneepads were shown on the Fall Winter 2019 runway–evoking the continuous evolution of the sportswear theme.
“Crafted from black stretch nylon, embroidered details such as the Interlocking G and Gucci logo add a playful feel.”
The monster shoes are described by the brand as having an “exaggerated platform and chunky heel”.
The silver metallic leather footwear comes with a towering 115mm heel height and 75mm platform.
However, shoppers have been left scratching their heads after Gucci shared a snap of a model wearing the platforms and knee pads on their Instagram account.
One bemused customer wrote: "I have given up on fashion after looking at this."
