Cheating bloke tells his girlfriend the topless photo of him with another woman is ‘old’ but Twitter detectives prove he’s a liar in seconds
A CHEATING man has been found out after Twitter turned detective on him.
After his girlfriend found a suspicious photo on social media with another woman, he insisted it was simply an old snap and she had nothing to worry about - however it wasn't long before his lies were very publicly exposed.
The drama started when a Twitter user called Keny scrolled down her feed to find a woman posing for a mirror selfie with a topless man in what appeared to be a hotel room.
In the image, his face was covered by a large emoji, as she draped her arm around him.
She captioned it: "Men with this physique really do something to me."
But his girlfriend recognised his muscular torso covered in tattoos.
In a post following her shocking discovery, Keny wrote: "B***h I'm livid...my bf pic really rolling round Twitter with another b***h."
When she confronted him, he admitted he was in the snap, but insisted it was an old fling.
His girlfriend tweeted: "He claims this an old pic. I just want receipts."
However, Twitter stepped in to help her get to the bottom of it.
They zoomed in on the picture for any clues on when it might have been taken - and one woman came up trumps.
She spotted that the magazine covers on the shelf behind the couple were from early 2019.
The Twitter user wrote: "Well sis judging from one of them magazine covers early 2019. THAT'S the February issue."
She even shared online images of the magazine to prove it.
Another user even revealed the brand name of the hotel and suggested she check his bank account transactions.
The woman who he was in the photo with also identified herself, and appeared to not know he was in another relationship.
She posted with "literal receipts" that he had paid for her to get her nails done on July 9th and told Keny "he has to be checked".
Following the detective work, Twitter blew up at how they had managed to catch her cheating boyfriend out.
One person wrote: "Police need to start posting about cold cases on Twitter."
Another commented: "I tell you women are freaking good detectives when they want to be."
A third shared: "How many episodes of Law & Order do you have to watch to be able to date a picture from a magazine cover."
