Archie Harrison is ‘very cute and very gentle’ according to Meghan Markle’s ‘idol’ who paid a secret trip to Frogmore last month
HE MAY only be two months old but it seems that Archie’s personality is already shining through as he has been described as “very gentle.”
Conservationist Dr Jane Goodall was lucky enough to meet the royal baby during her visit to Frogmore cottage back in June when Archie was just five weeks old.
Speaking of their introduction during a visit to Windsor Castle yesterday, she said: “(Meghan) came in at the end with Archie and I got to cuddle him!
“He’s very cute and very gentle.”
Dr Jane also revealed that the Duchess of Sussex is a “lifelong” fan of hers.
“She told me she’s followed me all her life. She told me ‘You’ve been my idol since I was a child. I’ve hero worshipped you all my life’, Dr Jane said.
Dr Jane, 85, is famous for her work with chimpanzees in Tanzania, paid a visit to Windsor Castle on Tuesday this week where she met Prince Harry to discuss their “Roots and Shoots” project to promote conservation.
She revealed that Harry had asked to meet her last year.
“Harry asked if I would go and meet him.
“They made me a dame of the British empire so I guess he thought it would be good to meet me. And we clicked.
“We talked about Roots and Shoots and I said ‘of course you’re interested now you have a baby’ and he said ‘Of Course!’
“When you bring a child into the world, you have to worry about the future. If we don’t make change, we don’t have a future, it’s as simple as that.”
