BIANCA Gascoigne has revealed how body dysmorphia has resulted in her having a Brazilian Butt Lift.

Appearing on  this week with Lisa Snowdon, the 32-year-old explained she hasn't been able to sit down or put her shoes on for four weeks following the surgery.

Discussing her body dysmorphia with Lisa as well as her mum Sheryl Gascoigne, Bianca explained: "I always see this fat chubby kid when I look in the mirror so that’s just always going to be that way.

"I have tried to conquer it but I think, you know, most women do have body hiccups in their mind. But I just kind of give myself more of a hard time.

"I was late today because it’s actually quite hard for me to get ready because I’ve just had surgery. Putting shoes on and everything isn’t very easy."

And when asked if she had had surgery on her bum, Bianca confirmed: "It’s a Brazilian Butt Lift where they take the fat from your tummy and back and they put it in your bum.

"It’s something I thought about for years and years and, like I said, I have this body dysmorphia.

"I have tried to get my bum how I wanted but I never really got there so I saw this as an option. But it really was a scary thing.

"I had lots of chats with the doctors and he spoke to my mum but I had to go to Marbella for it four weeks ago.

"He’s been doing it for 25 years and I trust him."

Bianca went on to explain that she's done with surgery "for now" after having also had a boob job and "a bit of botox".

But mum Sheryl explained she was very concerned about Bianca's bum procedure before she had it done.

"I was exceptionally worried because it was literally a week after sadly someone passed away from the operation," she said.

"... I get annoyed that she doesn’t see how beautiful she is. She’s stunning and she doesn’t see that."

Lisa added: "What about when you see photos of yourself? Can you not appreciate then how gorgeous you are?

"I can understand mirrors because sometimes mirrors are weird if you’re having an off day and you feel like you don’t fit in your body sometimes."

But Bianca explained she would still "probably always pick at something".

Mr. Mo Akhavani, Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon at The Plastic Surgery Group, explained to Fabulous Digital why the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure can be seriously risky – and why people need to choose their surgeon wisely.

"I’ve been to Canada, the States and Brazil and met with the guys who pioneered the procedure – and I’ve learnt all the pitfalls and the things that shouldn’t be done," he said.

“When you compare it [BBL] to other standard procedures it does have a fairly high complication rate – serious complications, even death.

“That’s mainly because of people who don’t understand what they’re doing with the fat."
