Racegoer who suffered red wine spill on her white outfit turns disaster into incredible patterned look
WEARING white around red wine drinkers can be a disaster waiting to happen - and for one Leeds racegoer, it was a reality that nearly ruined her outfit this weekend.
But with the help of her friends, savvy Eleanor Walton, from Leeds, who was splashed with the alcoholic drink at the Ripon Races, was able to save her look by pouring more of the good stuff down her.
Eleanor took to Twitter: "Would you believe someone spilt red wine all down my white outfit so my work girls SOAKED my jumpsuit in the sink so it's now red."
Sharing a picture of her wearing the white jumpsuit from Pretty Little Thing, her friend and outfit designer Mia Williamson added: "I think we've just made a new product for PLT's festival range."
Eleanor posed int he bathroom with the splattered red stain across her outfit, before another snap was posted of the completely transformed look - now a pink tie-dye.
Friends revealed how they poured 'about four glasses' onto the jumpsuit and dried it under a hand drier, as hundreds of Twitter users took to the comments to share their love for it.

"This is actually so cute, you should post a tutorial video of how you did it," said one fan.
Another agreed: "Honestly looks like apiece of art. It's a masterpiece and you wouldn't tell the difference if it was designer or not."
"It actually looks exactly like a tie-dye pair of bottoms from Pretty Little Thing," joked a third.
Even Pretty Little Thing themselves got involved to praise Eleanor and Mia's ingenious idea, writing in the comments: "Safe to say that wasn't a 'pour' decision."
Though others weren't so convinced about their clothing hack, worrying that the smell of 'dried wine' and the sticky residue would ruin their night.
One woman replied: "Was she not soggy? Looks AMAZING but I'd be worried about having red wine sticking to my legs all night. But she does look great."
"That's cool but you could have just put a bit of white wine on it and the stain will go," suggested another, with Mia batting it off as a 'boring way to resolve the issue'.
"Yuck at walking around smelling like stale wine," concluded one woman.
