‘Fun-loving’ Zara and Mike Tindall are the most wanted royal guests at dinner parties NOT Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, royal commentator claims

THEY'RE the down-to-earth royals raising their two daughters away from the spotlight - and it now appears that "fun-loving" Zara and Mike Tindall are quickly becoming one of the Royal Family's most popular couples.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous Digital, royal commentator Duncan Larcombe claims that Zara and Mike are "the top of the list when people have dinner parties" instead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Describing Zara as "down-to-earth", Duncan said: "Mike Tindall is a diamond, he's a lovely guy.

"He's the perfect non-royal husband someone like Zara Phillips could hope to have. He's a laidback Yorkshire man who is good company."

Unlike Meghan and Harry, the commentator claims that Zara and Mike are "the only members of the Royal Family that appear to not have a care in the world."

The couple are not working members of the Royal Family and are raising their two daughters, Mia and Lena, in Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park Estate in Gloucestershire.

However, Duncan claims "there is nothing upper class about the way they live at all" - after all, their favourite date night involves a takeway curry, a box-set and a couple of lagers.

"They are very much middle class," Duncan said. "They are more Sainsbury's than Waitrose."

What's more, Duncan claims the couple "are very much high street when they are shopping" and "don't have a nanny".

He added: "They are incredibly hands on parents. They show their face in the local area. I think it’d be fair to say they show their face in the local pub."

In contrast, Meghan Markle is allegedly in the process of "auditioning" nannies for Archie which is proving "humiliating" for the candidates.

Duncan added: "In Zara’s mind, she’s not a royal apart from when it’s Christmas Day and she’s with the Queen or Trooping the Colour and she stands on the balcony or Royal Ascot and she’s with them.

"They are a bit of an antidote to the seriousness of being a royal."
