Meghan Markle has now blinged up the £10,000 ‘push-present’ earrings Prince Harry gave her after she gave birth to Archie, fans claim
MEGHAN Markle appears to have redesigned another piece of jewellery given to her by Prince Harry.
At the Lion King premiere, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, seemed to wear the same £10,000 diamond earrings that she wore to Trooping the Colour – but with a difference.
The stunning designer Nikos Koulis studs looked like they had been blinged out with a new black enamel casing for the star-studded even.
It’s not the first time Meghan has transformed jewellery, after the duchess reset her engagement ring featuring Princess Diana’s diamonds, with a narrow a diamond band.
Some fans speculated that the pricey earrings were a push present - traditionally given by a man when his partner gives birth - from Prince Harry.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot the difference in the earrings and took to social media to share their views.
One wrote: “Now I’m even more convinced that these earrings that Meghan is wearing is Harry’s push present after Archie.
“She first wore this at Trooping but this time looks like it’s encased with Onyx.”
It's not a new custom for the royals to give push presents, as Prince William is reported to have given Kate Middleton a white gold eternity ring after the birth of their first son, George.
