Who is Meghan Markle’s friend Genevieve Hillis and how did she and the Duchess of Sussex meet?
MEGHAN Markle was photographed at Wimbledon with two of her best pals from university on Thursday, July 4, as she cheered on Serena Williams.
But who is Genevieve Hillis, and how does she know the Duchess of Sussex? Here's all we know about her.
Who is Genevieve Hillis?
Genevieve is part of the trio of best friends, alongside Meghan and Lindsay Roth.
The three women were at Northwestern University School of Communication together, graduating back in 2003.
Meghan and Genevieve were even sorority sisters in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
She co-organised Meghan's baby shower in New York, alongside Serena Williams.
TV presenter Gayle King said of the shower: "I think her friends just wanted to celebrate her. Serena and her best friend who’s been her best friend since she was 17, Genevieve, and her friend Jessica Mulroney.
"Those were the three women who put it all together. It was a very, very small, private affair and just a very special time for her".
She's also one of the rumoured people to become godmother to Meghan and Prince Harry's new baby, .
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released details about Archie's christening, which took place on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
The new parents released official photos from the day shortly after Archie was christened.
The Archbishop of Canterbury christened the royal baby at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle, and the couple asked photographer Chris Allerton to take pictures.
A statement was released by Buckingham Palace prior to the christening: "Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will be christened in a small private ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday 6 July.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex look forward to sharing some images taken on the day by photographer Chris Allerton.
"The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private."

The new mum was spotted on July 4 on Court One at Wimbledon, as she watched her friend play Kaja Juvan.
Meghan was snapped alongside pals Genevieve and Lindsay.
Meghan is a close friend of Lindsay’s, and acted as maid of honour at her wedding in Greece in August 2016.
