Royal christenings over the years – from The Queen to Kate Middleton’s kids and Meghan Markle’s son Archie

IT'S the day Royal fans have been waiting for - Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby son Archie will be christened in a small private ceremony in Windsor Castle later today.

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted to keep the details of the ceremony and the identities of Archie's godparents private, the couple confirmed that they will be sharing photos of their two-month-old son after the christening.

Archie will be the seventh child to wear the royal christening gown which is a replica of one commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841.

In Royal tradition, he will then be baptised with the large silver-gilt Lily Font used for all royal christenings.

To celebrate the royal occasion, Fabulous Digital has taken a look back at the Royal Family's christenings over the years - and the photos are nothing short of adorable.
