DEAD THRILLING

The ‘dead ting’ is the Love Island-inspired sex position YOU need to try when you’re horny but too hot to move around

WHEN it's hot, humid and you don't have the luxury of air conditioning, having sex can be effort.

But fear not, because there's a new sex position on the rise and it's perfect for when you're too hot and bothered to move around.

You might have heard Love Island's Amber Gill use the phrase to describe love rival Joanna Chimonedes in last night's episode - but we can reveal the "dead ting" is also a sex position.

The lazy style describes sex with very little movement and can be achieved in a number of different ways.

For the ultimate "dead ting", lovers should have sex facing each other side by side - meaning they're both able to lie down and do very little.

According to tried and tested couples, it's also great with a hangover.

And while it might not be the most exciting position when you're sweltering in the heatwave Fabulous Digital sex and love expert says the dead ting position shouldn't be written off.

"Never underestimate the benefits of lazy sex, like the dead ting position, when it's hot outside," Dr Pam told us.

"Each partner lies on their sides, facing each other, with her 'upper' leg draped over his hips and he can rest his free 'upper' arm and hand over her hip, pulling her in.

"It means there can be lots of slow smooching, and touching each other all over with your free hand.

"There are many positives! It helps you stay connected as a couple when a lack of sex, over a number of hot summer weeks, could mean that you drift apart.

"It can actually be full of lust and surprisingly sensual even when you feel sloth-like due to the heat.

"Simply caressing each other - while you move very slowly due to your lack of energy - can be super sexy.

"Especially when the slowness of it means your hands might wander to places they don't usually wander to when you're having vigorous sex."

also explains it can even improve your sex life, revealing it helps couples "tune in" to what the other person likes.

"The slow pace also means that you might develop better non-verbal communication about what each other enjoys," she explained.

"Because moving slowly gives you the chance to actually tune in to things like your partner’s ‘sex sounds’ - their moans and groans that indicate when you’re doing things they like.

"It can actually turn out feeling like you’ve been quite kinky too - despite moving slowly, in the dead heat you get all sweaty together.

"It makes you feel a bit dirty but in a ‘hot’ way!

"So it really is a must-have position in your sexual repertoire."
