Bride-to-be’s glitter manicure is blasted as she shows off her engagement ring
POSTING an image of your engagement ring on social media is often a cause for celebration.
But when one woman showed off her sparkly diamond on Facebook during the run up to her wedding, she was slammed for the state of her nails instead.
Taking to the Facebook group last week, one anonymous social media user shared the image, which they had found on another page.
"Not my picture. It was posted in another group," they wrote.
"That is her engagement ring and those are her wedding nails."
In the photo, the bride-to-be is holding up her hand to show off her giant ring - but users were more interested in her nails.
The square nails featured sparkly silver tips and dozens of users were not impressed, with one claiming the nails were "giving her nightmares".
Another called them: "Basic all the way around."
While one cruel user wrote: "The nail polish has more sparkle than those s****y diamonds."
Earlier this week, another bride's nails were slammed after she took to social media to post a snap of her new sparkler.
Commenting on the post, one person said: “Your nail tech did you wrong and so did your man with that ring.”
