Mum left red-faced after her daughter, nine, asks her what Ann Summers’ intimate gel is for
A MUM was cringing after her nine-year-old daughter found her Ann Summers gel – and asked her what it was for.
One woman was confronted with her curious daughter’s questions after she went rifling through her drawers.
The mum had a tube of the sex shop’s P***y Rub, which “warms, intensifies and helps heighten orgasms”.
Revealing her embarrassment, the mum wrote on Facebook group : “My 9 year old daughter has just come down stairs and said mummy I have a question for you, I said ok go on so she produced this and said what on earth is this.
“So I just burst out laughing and try to explain the best I could whilst giggling like a teenager and she just said omg mummy do you use that with (my boyfriend) and I said NO babe not yet.”
The website described it as a: "Smooth, rich cream specially blended to increase the sensitivity of your most intimate areas and help deliver you to bigger, better orgasms, time after time!"
Her honest post has been liked hundreds of times, as fellow parents offered up advice over what she should say, as well as sharing their own cringe-worthy tales.
Multiple people said she should have told a white lie and pretended it was meant for cats.
Commenting on the post, one person said: “I’d have gone with lotion for the pussy cat.”
Another added: “All fun and games until she rubs it all over the poor cat.”
A third said: “Oh man I would so be styling it out as some kind of cat hair product.”
But the mum said her daughter had read the packaging, she had a feeling it wasn’t for cats.
In the end the mum said: “I told her that when couple love each other and make love sometimes they use the 'things' in that drawer to make it feel nicer and then.”
Her straight talking was praised by other mums, with one saying: “Well done for honesty mama! You rock.”
Although she added she told her daughter to “stop looking in my bloody drawers.”
