AFTER taking out the bin or scrubbing down the loo, the chore we forever find ourselves putting off time and time again is giving the oven a thorough clean.
And it turns out we're not alone, as one woman has revealed how she'd hadn't cleaned her oven in over a DECADE - but still managed to get it sparkling clean thanks to two miracle products.
Sharing incredible before-and-after photos on a Facebook cleaning group, Paula-Jane Keir wrote: "First time I've cleaned this cooker in 10 years."
Zooming in on the burnt, crusty bottom of the oven, she joked: "Judge away, you don't know my story."
But while we would have ordinarily have assumed there was no salvaging an oven that hadn't been cleaned in a whole decade, Paula-Jane was delighted when two Mrs Hinch-approved products got her oven sparkling in no time.
The woman started by spraying the inside of her oven - especially those burnt bits at the bottom - with a £1 Elbow Grease spray.
The miracle multipurpose product - which has been known to transform tattered staircases and tired kitchen floors - dislodged some of the stubborn, cooked-on food waste after being left to soak.
After this, Paula-Jane then wiped down the inside before going back in with a generous dollop of The Pink Stuff - which costs just 89p from Home Bargains.
This acidic cleaning product can be used all around the home, but works especially well at cleaning oven doors and filthy frying pans.
And with some hardcore scrubbing, Paula-Jane's oven looked as good as new.
- Elbow Grease Degreaser, £1 for 500ml from Poundshop -
- Stardrops The Pink Stuff Cleaning Paste, £1 from Sainsbury's -
Unsurprisingly, other users were blown away with the sparkling results.
One wrote: "Looks amazing! Who cares what people think - we all love cleaning but god I think this is everyone's least favourite job."
Another added: "I clean mt oven once a month and I still can't get mine as shiny as this!"
Meanwhile, a third raved: "Looks brand new, well done!"
