Bride-to-be shares photo of her engagement ring – but gets shamed for her swollen finger
AN EXCITABLE bride-to-be has shared a snap of her engagement ring on Facebook, only to be shamed by people who poked fun at her swollen finger.
The photo was shared on a wedding shaming group, where users questioned whether the band might actually be stuck.
The engagement ring is a small band featuring a dark gem stone round the exterior and then a heart and dagger design in the centre.
But members of the group were less concerned by the ring than by the bride’s finger.
One wrote: “She’s gonna need some Crisco, some olive oil, some soap, some holy water, some pliers, and the Hulk to pry that off.”
Another added: “If you go to the local to the local fire station they’ll do it for free too. Plus you get to talk to the sexy fire fighters.”
“OUCH. How her finger is not actually dying I do not know” said a third.
While another cruelly wrote: “You said yes, but your finger said no.”
Meanwhile another questioned whether the bride might be in need of medical assistance.
They commented: “Is this, like, at the hospital orrrrr…”
It comes just a week after another bride-to-be was slammed on social media for uploading an image of her badly manicured nails.
While the snap was intended to show off her engagement ring, Facebook users were more concerned with her grown-out acrylics.
The image appears to show a huge diamond engagement ring - but other group members were far more concerned with the unnamed woman's manicure, with one explaining they were "speechless".
"I'm not normally speechless when I look at these kinda photos but damn... I'm 100% speechless," they wrote.
Another said: "I couldn't even focus on the ring after seeing the nails".
Wedding shaming groups have been on the rise recently, seeing people shame others’ big days.
You can critique dresses, decorations and of course, dramatic brides who are kindly dubbed “bridezillas”.
There’s even categories for your posts where you can file your rant under popular tags such as “cringe”, “tacky family” and “f***ing yikes”.
In other wedding news, a bridezilla has demanded her bridesmaids pay £2,270 for the "honour" of being in her wedding.
Meanwhile this bridezilla sacked her make-up artist after she found out she was gay.
