Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are so desperate for privacy they’ve hired just one member of staff at Frogmore Cottage, new documentary claims
WITH their busy schedules - and a new royal baby on their hands - you'd be forgiven for thinking Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would have an army of staff behind them.
But, according to a new documentary, they've hired just one person to help out at their ten-bedroom home.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to be so keen for privacy that they're bucking royal staffing trends to employee just one person at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
They currently have a lone housekeeper working for them, according to upcoming programme Meghan Markle: Inside the Home of a Princess, reports .
The new parents moved into the sizeable Grade II-listed property following a £3million renovation, and their home is believed to feature a gym, yoga studio and granny flat for Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland.
It comes as we told you earlier this month that the couple have a "scaled down team" and haven't employed a nanny or chef.
Royal author Katie Nicholl told Grazia magazine they will be relying on "indispensable" Doria.
Following Archie's birth just over three weeks ago, the new grandmother appeared in official photos with the Queen.
An announcement from the palace said: “The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.”
While she won't give up her LA life for good, sources have said she will be a "frequent" visitor in Windsor.
Harry and Meghan are believed to have spent £150,000 on the nursery alone.
It's also been claimed that Archie's room has been painted with a gender-neutral grey colour and also features childproof windows.
The couple are yet to hire a nanny for their newborn.
It is thought they are open to an American for the role and would even be happy with a "manny".
