Love Island 2019 — Here’s our holiday-ready beauty trends and top lipstick picks
THE Love Island 2019 contestants have been announced and everyone is trying to make guesses about what will go down in this series.
It's now time to shake-up your make-up bag with summery lipsticks that look fit for the Love Island villa.
GOLDEN GIRL
Gold makes the cut every season and for good reason – it suits all skin tones.
This summer is about dusting the shimmering hue across accent points on your face.
Start by applying a thin layer of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, £42, to give your skin a glowing base.
Set it in place with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, £30, before sweeping a gold-infused bronzing highlighter, such as Clarins Bronzing & Blush Compact in Sunset Glow, £32, across your cheeks, nose and forehead.
For the eyes, dampen a flat eyeshadow brush such as Dior Backstage Small Eye Shadow Blending Brush, £22, and use it to dab Bobbi Brown Sparkle Shadow in Sunlight, £25, along your lash line.
The moisture will make the colour more intense and the shadow last longer.
Team with a glossy molten gold lip – we love Becca Glow Gloss in Champagne, £18.
Before heading out, give your look extra staying power and radiance with a spritz of Anastasia Beverly Hills Dewy Setting Spray, £27.

QUEEN OF CORAL
Neon and coral are huge beauty trends this season, so why not combine them?
Pare back your make-up so your lips can take centre stage with a few layers of a bright, bold hue.
First, line your pout with Lime Crime Velvetines Lip Liner in Poppy, £14.50, before applying up to three thin coats of Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Wild Child, £18, depending on how much of an impact you want to make.
For a matte finish, dust Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder, £3.99, between each coat – this will also help to make the lippy last longer.
Dab Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Goldgasm, £29, on to your Cupid’s bow to make your pout dazzle.

GREEN SCENE
There’s no better time to experiment with bright colours than the summer, and this year we’re going green.
Matched with bronzed skin and neutral lippy, it makes for the most sun-sational look.
Ace your base with Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, £33.50, which will make your skin look fresh, before swiping Guerlain Terracotta Skin Highlighting Stick in Gold, £34, on your cheekbones, brow bones and nose for a sun-kissed finish.
Then, taking a small fluffy eyeshadow brush, dust an emerald shade such as Nyx Cosmetics Prismatic Eye Shadow in Mermaid, £5.50, across your lid, starting with most of the colour intensity in the inner corner and diffusing it towards the edge.
Think bold with your mascara, too – add extra lashings for a hit of drama, but pair with a nude lip to keep the focus on your peepers.
We love Beauty Pie Futurelipstick in Hush Now, £3.64 for Beauty Pie members.

PEACHY KEEN
Peach is so hot right now, and the beauty of this suits-all shade is that you can make it as subtle or as bold as you like – and it’s mega-easy to do.
Start off with your base. Use a fluffy foundation brush to buff It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF50+, £31, into skin.
To combat dark circles, dab Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer, £8.99, on top to hide them before getting creative with colour.
After bronzing your skin with a gold powder – we love Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder in Solar Pulse, £42 – add a layer of Mac Eye Shadow in See The Future, £14, from your lash line all the way up to your brow.
For a less-is-more look, gently pat it on with your finger, but if you really want to make the colour pack a punch, apply using a brush such as the Morphe Pro Oval Shadow Brush, £5.50.
To finish, apply a slick of mascara and a peach lippy.
We can’t get enough of L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Shine Lipstick in Peach On The Beach, £8, right now.
