Pregnant bride mocked for getting married in sheer wedding dress with ‘granny pants’ underneath – and the groom wore jeans
Baffled Facebook users said the bride looked like was wearing lingerie
A PREGNANT bride has been mercilessly mocked for tying the knot in a sheer wedding dress, with only a pair of "granny pants" to hide her modesty.
She wore a beautiful lace gown for her big day but made the bold decision not to wear a slip underneath - with some comparing her outfit to "wedding lingerie".
While her groom bucked the traditional wedding suit in favour of a white V-neck T-shirt with a pair of blue jeans.
The pic was posted in a Wedding Shaming Facebook group, where people gasped: "This is horrendous", "Awful. Just awful", "Wtf is this dress" and "Yikes!!";
It was shared by a former school friend of the bride, who said: "I don’t mind the lace, what I mind is the no slip.
"It looks like she’s wearing a diaper. Also her baby daddy (now husband) wore dark blue jeans and a white shirt, as you see depicted.
"From what I remember it was a backyard wedding with a cook out (BBQ)."
Commenting on the snap, horrified people said: "I hate everything about this picture" and "I think this is the first time the guy is dressed nicer than the bride."
Another lady joked: "Lolol. Looks more like they’re on their way to a crappy maternity shoot."
While a third slated: "That's not a wedding dress it's a bathing suit cover up."
