PrettyLittleThing neon dress fail leaves shopper looking ‘like a lollipop lady’
Morgan Kane, 20, was shocked when the oversized neon dress drowned her
A WOMAN was left looking like a lollipop lady after she bought a garish oversized dress from Pretty Little Thing.
Morgan Kane, 20, from Dundee, was so horrified by the £25 dress she immediately decided to return it.
She had ordered the threads for a night out for her friend’s 21st birthday, but said the dress was a joke because it was so huge.
The early years practitioner got her pal to take a snap with the caption: “Canna believe Morgan’s a lollipop woman.”
Morgan posted a series of the photos to Twitter showing the brightly-coloured dress swamping her, and wrote: “HAHAHA GOOD ONE pretty little thing , so like the online one x”
In one, only her forehead and toes can be seen peeping out from behind the blindingly bright number.
Morgan said: “I couldn’t believe it how different it was from the photo online.
“I didn’t expect it - it’s the first time I’ve ever had something been sent to me that bad.”
One of her followers joked: “What the hell hahahahha,” to which Morgan replied: “Hahahaha it’s soo bad”.
On the PrettyLittleThing website, the dress comes in three colours – lime, black and orange – and is stocked in their plus size range.
It was not apparent on the model that the outfit was so huge unless the toggles were deployed.
The description says: “Glow up this season doll in this killer shift dress.
“Featuring a neon lime material, a toggle tie waist and long sleeves, team it with a clear mini bag and strappy heels for the ultimate ‘out’ out look.”
And it’s not the first time PLT has come under fire for their sizing.
The clothing company has been contacted by Fabulous Digital for comment.
