Palace shuts down claims Meghan Markle will unveil Baby Sussex on Vogue cover

Palace spokespeople have shut down rumours that Meghan has organised a cover shoot with fashion magazine Vogue

WITH Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby announcement thought to be due any day now, Royal fans have been speculating on how the couple will reveal the happy news.

But Palace spokespeople have shut down rumours that the former actress has snubbed the traditional photo call in favour of something altogether more Hollywood - a cover shoot with fashion magazine Vogue.

An 'insider' told magazine that the former Suits actress was in talks to debut Baby Sussex on the front of Vogue, despite the Queen being 'deeply' against it.

And as well as a representative of the Duchess labelling the claims as 'categorically false', a spokeswoman for the Palace has confirmed the rumours are 'completely untrue'.

The anonymous 'insider' had falsely told the British magazine: "Meghan is adamant that she is going to do everything about her birth differently from what is usually expected."

They added that the Duchess of Sussex also sees herself as the one who 'calls the shots' on her baby's birth, and insisted that she won't even take advice from the 'Queen herself'.

The source added: "Instead she's in talks with Vogue about doing an exclusive at-home photo shoot her her and the baby when she's ready for her close-up and wants a big Hollywood showbiz moment."

The American-born star was also said to be looking through copies of old magazines for inspiration - with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' announcement of daughter Suri her favourite.

And in preparation for the shoot, the glam squad were said to already be on hand and making preparations for the front-cover photographs.

"We can confirm that this is completely untrue," a royal spokesperson told the Sun Online over the announcement, while refusing to reveal the real plans of when the little prince or princess will first be seen.

Staff at Vogue appeared to know nothing about the supposed cover when contacted by Fabulous Digital.

In other news, Prince Harry released a video thanking all those running the London Marathon for his mental health charity Heads Together.

While Meghan's make-up artist Daniel Martin revealed the Duchess of Sussex gets inspiration for her make-up looks from YouTube beauty clips.

And fans say Meghan Markle was left out of Kate and William's birthday tribute to the Queen.
