The bridesmaid had shared over text that she was unhappy with the choice of maroon dress which ended just above the knee, dubbing it better for a 'barbecue' than a wedding day.

But her friend insisted that the particular maid was 'hell' to please, hitting back with her side of the story beside photos of the dresses she imagined her bridal party wearing.

The angry bride wrote: "Can I shame my bridesmaid for dissing these dress options and being snobby about it?

"The wedding is at a park in Florida in early October, so pretty casual, and she wants everyone to wear long dresses because it's 'more wedding appropriate'."

Besides the snapshots, the bride refused to keep the identity of her bridesmaid secret as she was also in the wedding shaming group and wanted her to be known.

Only moments later the fussy bridesmaid wrote back, sharing photos of a text exchange between the pair to show her side of the story.

She wrote: "So I'm here to shame myself as my best friend's bridesmaid from hell because I've been on her case about what kind of dresses she wants us to wear for her wedding.
"She's told me she doesn't care as long as we're comfortable and within her colour scheme - last night I asked for picture references of dresses to go off of."

But after looking at the pictures, the bridesmaid admitted to texting back, suggesting that her above-the-knee suggestions may not be entirely 'appropriate'.

And while the bride fired back it was 'up to her', by the end of the messages the pair seemed to have agreed that whatever length the ladies felt comfortable with was acceptable.

"I'll probably just stick to one of the ones you sent," she had texted the disgruntled bride. "I'll send you a picture and buy it."

"Alright, that sounds good. Love you," the bride had replied.

Commenters were quick to defend the bridesmaid, agreeing that the dresses were too casual for a wedding and reminding the bride she too is entitled to her opinion.

One wrote: "Why does the bride that that a difference in opinion in dress length is shame worthy? You can't expect 100 per cent agreement on all of the decisions."

While another agreed: "You literally asked for her opinion and then got mad and shamed her on a group for giving it."

"Imagine putting your own friend and bridesmaid on blast in front of thousands of people where she can see it," a third added.

In other news, this 'stingy' fiance was slammed online for refusing to 'shell out thousands' on a diamond ring for his bride-to-be.

Plus this raging bridezilla has claimed that her pregnant bridesmaid owes her £23,000 for a wedding "do over" for "upstaging" her.

And this snobby wedding guest had slammed a newlyweds' "pathetic" buffet, featuring unwrapped "plastic cheese" and orange wedges with stickers on.
