But finding that her growing frame was actually making her feel worse, she decided to overhaul her diet and lifestyle.

The 31-year-old weighed 17st at her heaviest and was amazed when the fat started to drop off as soon as she embarked on a calorie-restricted diet.

And as soon as that happened, her confidence soared and she started taking daily selfies.

Now weighing 11st 5lbs and wearing a size 8, Corie feels healthier than ever.

Corie said: "I can't stop taking selfies now and after years of hating my body, I now couldn't be happier with how I look.

"I would spend days hiding at home as I didn't want to be seen and enjoyed comfort eating.

"I lost my mum suddenly at 24 so I was eating to help deal with the loss but through doing that I was feeling even worse.

"Eating bags of multi-packs crisps and chocolate was the main reason I gained weight and ended up a dress size 18."

She never ate cooked food, living off snack foods that were packed with sugar instead.

Corie joined the Cambridge Weight Plan last January which involved her eating just 600 calories a day.

"I didn't exercise but the pounds quickly fell off," she said.

"Now I have hit goal weight and finally have the confidence to show off my body.

"I love taking photos now as I'm proud of what I've managed to achieve."

"I feel great now and I can't ever imagine binging like I used to before.
