Prince Harry is ‘angry and upset’ about Meghan Markle’s palace nickname ‘Me-Gain’, claims Queen’s former aide
Dickie Arbiter says the Duke of Sussex will not be impressed at the reports
FROM "Duchess Difficult" to "Me-Gain", reports regarding Meghan Markle's unflattering palace nicknames have been circulating for months.
And now, the Queen's former aide Dickie Arbiter has claimed Prince Harry will be "angry and upset" over the criticism of Meghan.
Earlier this week, reported that staff within Kensington Palace have been referring to the pregnant Duchess as "Me-Gain", following reports earlier in the year that Meghan had been branded "Duchess Difficult" by certain members of her team.
Referring to the claims, Dickie told that Prince Harry, 34, will not be impressed with the reports.
"He would be angry that something like this is coming out," he said.
“... He will be angry, he will be upset, he will want to keep his head down and he will want to protect Meghan."
“They are in a bit of limbo at the moment, they are sort of living at Kensington Palace, Frogmore Cottage is being overhauled and until such time they can settle in there," Dickie continued.
"Once that is out of the way they can really work together as a partnership, as a double act, and support the Queen and support his father, which is what he’s there for.”
The most recent nickname was reported in the May edition of Tatler, with the publication claiming Sarah Ferguson was subject to cruel attacks after marrying into the royal family.
The publication added: “Meghan has seen nothing like that – even though staff at Kensington Palace are now calling her "Me-Gain.”
Kensington Palace has denied reports in the past of 37-year-old Meghan having a strained relationship with her staff, and has been contacted for comment by the Sun Online.
