Ava Annalise, three, feigned innocence when her grandma asked where the ink explosion came from
THIS is the adorable moment a cute three-year-old girl pretended she hadn’t drawn ink all over her face – despite clutching the pen in her hand.
Little Ava Annalise was playing at home with her grandma when her mum popped out to the shops, and the toddler decided to use her face as an artistic canvas.
The pigtailed toddler was discovered by the older lady with dark blue pen all over her forehead, lips, nose, cheeks and legs.
When her grandma asked how the mess had occurred, Ava feigned innocence and pretended to not know anything about it.
The sweet girl even acted shocked when she found she still had the marker pen in her hand.
The comical video was posted on Instagram by Ava’s mum, who said the grandma filmed the entire incident.
She captioned the video: “The Ava Chronicles... so my mom sent me this while I was at the store grabbing some snacks for Ava ... I couldn’t help but laugh!!
“But she had a time out seat waiting for her for lying! Time for a bath and off to bed!!!”
The heartwarming video starts with the grandma saying: “Your mommy is gonna be very upset with you.”
Pretending to be innocent, Ava replies: “I didn't do it.”
The grandma asks: “Who put that on your face?” and Ava replies: “I don't know.”
The older woman points out that she still has a marker in her hand, and Ava turns to look at it, seemingly surprised it is there.
Ava shakes her head again when asked if it was her, to which the grandma says: “Ava, are you telling the truth?”
Finally Ava battles against her conscience, and says “no” but nods her head to indicate yes.
Since being posted on Instagram, the video has racked up 24,000 views and many people have commented how funny the incident was.
One wrote: “Lmao my MOOD is Ava for the day.”
Another added: “look at the sassiness in her response.”
And one person said: “it would be hard to stay mad at her.”
