Netflix announces third A Christmas Prince film and it’ll feature a royal baby
ALONG with The Holiday and Love Actually, The Christmas Bride has fast become one of the festive films we can't help but watch all-year round.
Well brace yourselves chick-flick fans because Netflix has just announced some incredibly exciting news.
Yes our favourite fictional blogger/undercover reporter/princess is expecting a baby with her hunky husband Prince Richard in the upcoming third instalment of the films.
And let's just say, if this doesn't make your Wednesday, then we don't know what will.
In a teaser tweet which has been "liked" over 9,000 times, Netflix HQ shared a photo of a baby wearing a crown in an ultrasound to announce the happy news.
Due to be released "this holiday season", A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby will pick up where we last left lovebirds Amber and Richard in Aldovia as they prepare to become parents.
What's more, the second most important Royal Baby of the year is expected just a few months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcome their first child in Spring 2019.
While details on the new release are still being kept largely under wraps, the official Netflix description says: "It's Christmastime in Aldovia - and a royal baby is on the way!
"Amber and Richard host royals from a faraway kingdom to renew an ancient truce, but when the priceless 600-year-old-treaty disappears, peace is put in jeopardy and an ancient curse threatens their family!"
Unsurprisingly, the exciting chick flick news has delighted fans of the series.
Responding to Netflix's imaginative announcement, one fan replied: "Thank GOD this is exactly what the holiday season needed!"
Another could barely contain their excitement and wrote: "Oh I yelled during a meeting today over this news..."
Meanwhile, a third replied: "The only thing that's gonna be me through the rest of the year."
In more film news, The Notebook fans have been left "raging" after Netflix CHANGED the ending of the cult tearjerker.
Plus Love Actually fans were stunned to discover there was just a FIVE YEAR age gapbetween Juliet and Sam.
And Meghan Markle once appeared in this classic noughties rom-com… and you won’t believe her character’s name.
