Our columnist Kerry King tells you what the week ahead has in store for you with her special Tarotscope readings

Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.

Here’s her predictions for YOUR star sign…

Aries (Two of Wands, Queen of Cups, Four of Coins)

Dodge an impending rut

There’s a red flag waving, this week, which you should pay attention to because it signals you might be falling into a (dreaded) “rut” in some way- as shown by the stubborn and immovable Four of Coins.

Where are you clinging on to the old? In what area of life are you ignoring some (increasingly irksome) “growing pains”? It’s not like you to be inflexible, you usually love a challenge.

The Queen of Cups hints that this is an emotional issue, and the Two of Wands reveals you probably feel some conflict about it, which is why you’ve not dealt with it up to now.

Your head has turned towards the sand! If you don’t face into the matter soon, you’ll start to sink into it and get stuck in a moment- an unwelcome moment.

Enough, Aries, come on and tackle this. It’s not half as tricky as you think and if you face into the conflict, make a choice, and execute it this week, then the “rut” CAN be avoided.

Taurus (Eight of Swords, The Moon, Ten of Cups)

Face it

Despite your love of analysis and (over)thinking, you can be a master of blocking out things you really don’t want to face or deal with. Out of sight, out of mind- job done.

The Eight of Swords and The Moon hint you’ve been burying your head in the sand over something for some time now, related to your closest relationship/s, as shown by the Ten of Cups.

There’s an illusion you’ve allowed to linger, something which you know, deep down, isn’t going to pan out or isn’t how it really is IRL… yet, you’ve been happier to let the façade stay up than go through the turmoil of dismantling it.

My friend, it’s time to do JUST that.

And I want you to know that this is not an ending, or a sad demise, or a terrible ordeal… it’s actually the FIRST step of release. Once free of this illusion, you’ll breathe easier. You don’t realise how heavy this secret has started to weigh upon you. Get it all out in the open, and carry on with a clean slate. You’ll feel MUCH better, I promise.

Gemini (Ten of Coins, Six of Wands, Eight of Coins)

Higher learning

Gemini are the natural-born students of the zodiac, not least as it’s a work-avoidance tactic, because you LOVE learning and appreciate that knowledge is power.

The Eight of Coins has you brushing up your skills, or acquiring new ones, this week and it’s all in the pursuit of your long-term career progression and financial security, as shown by the Ten of Coins.

You can see how a little more practical knowledge and insight will go a long way, and you’re prepared to put the work in. The Universe likes what it sees here! The Six of Wands is the tarot’s “high five” card, congratulating you on doing exactly what it is the Universe thinks you ought to be.

So, seek training, education, higher learning, new skills and sharpened talents this week, use your noggin to get ahead and, importantly, you’ll find it easier to STAY ahead.

Cancer (Knight of Swords, The Wheel of Fortune, The Tower)

Things are in motion

You’ve been roused, Cancer! The Knight of Swords shows you in a stormin’ mood this week, eager to strike out and get / take what you think you deserve, no excuses and no regrets. I like it! And this bolshy new attitude is creating ripples, let me tell you.

The Wheel of Fortune is spinning and that means anything is possible. Pick a pivot point where you can apply pressure and turn the axis to maximum effect, in other words what ONE thing would you most like to change? NOW is the time.

The Tower shows there’ll be a mixed bag of results, but don’t let that stop you, or slow you down. Sometimes a bold move is met with the demise of things in our life which were teetering on collapse anyway, and couldn’t take the pressure.

That is good to know, that is as valuable an outcome as you get. So, make that bold move. Expect the unexpected but TRUST that it’ll turn out great in the end. You’re a work in progress, a wheel in motion, enjoy the ride!

Leo (King of Coins, Temperance, Six of Cups)

A change of heart starts here

Something from your past deserves a place in your future and, this week, you’re going to make the necessary moves to reinstate its presence in your life.

The Six of Cups is that “blast from the past” card, and shows the return of whatever it is.

I think it’s either a man, older, Earth sign (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo), possibly a family or mentor-type of figure, possibly an Ex… OR it’s a practical endeavour or financial habit you used to stick to. Something which brought rewards and stability to your life.

Maybe an old job, an adviser you trusted, a side line you made money with. Temperance shows this has the potential to make a great and positive impact in your life, changing the current status quo and making you feel differently about everything. So, look to the past.

Consider either a man or a practical endeavour you once had great respect and affection for… and see if it can be reintroduced to your present world- you won’t regret this!

Virgo (Four of Wands, King of Swords, Five of Coins)

Hindsight brings new knowledge

It’s usually only with hindsight that we see silver linings in the events we had labelled as “bad, sad and best forgotten”.

The Five of Coins hints you should return to your bookcase of “previous chapters” and look through the pages of one labelled this way. You know what, Virgo, there’s a silver lining and a life lesson here which, up to now, you’ve not considered.

The King of Swords reveals it’s something intellectual and insightful and has a benefit for your future path, be that something tangible or even just some wisdom and self-awareness which would serve you well.

The Four of Wands has you ready and willing to move forwards, to seize new opportunity and even move onwards physically in some respect.

So, before you up sticks, just glance back to a time and place you felt wounded and like you lost something / one… and reflect on the unexpected benefits and / or life lesson hidden there. It’s something worth knowing. Take that trip down Memory Lane…

Libra (Ten of Swords, Strength, The Star)

A wish come true awaits

The Ten of Swords reveals that something will end this week, something which has become increasingly difficult, draining and negative. *SPOILER* it’s never going to improve and you’re best off without it in your life.

Is this a sad ending? Not really, my friend, as shown by the beautiful combination of Strength and The Star.

You will feel stronger and more powerful as a result of calling time on this shitty situation, released and rejuvenated by putting down the load.

You will also have created space and room in your life for new, fresh energy to flow in. And it will. Potentially in the shape of a long-held wish or dream-come-true.

Seriously, it’s worth getting excited about! So, don’t hesitate to withdraw from places or relationships which aren’t serving you well. You deserve, and can confidently, expect better is just around the corner…

Scorpio (Nine of Wands, Seven of Swords, The Fool)

Secretly plan a fresh start

The Fool is the first card of the tarot and is its patron saint of clean saints, do overs, new beginnings- ones tinged with total faith and optimism EVEN IF they seem silly or foolhardy to other people.

And you’ve been brewing such a thing… on the down-low (indeed, Scorpio, there isn’t much going on with you which ISN’T on the down-low…).

The Seven of Swords congratulates your guardedness and desire to keep this new chapter private, that is just the right thing to do.

Not everyone will share your enthusiasm and their (negative) input may dilute your passion. The Nine of Wands reveals that the obstacles and issues here are not half as bad as they seem. Glitches not ditches.

So, take a deep breath and a big run up to all of your perceived hurdles, you can jump them easier than you think and, on the other side, is smooth seas and plain sailing. Run towards your new chapter, it’s waiting for you…

Sagittarius (Ten of Cups, Six of Wands, Knight of Coins)

Happy relationships all round

You’re feeling pretty loved up, be that with your other half or just your nearest and dearest. And so you should, because you’ve worked hard on your relationships and on adapting yourself to make them work.

The Six of Wands and Ten of Cups combine to give you a big “high five” from the Universe for putting the effort in, it HAS been noticed and will be rewarded with good times, vibes and love.

Anything to tweak or acknowledge? Well, the Knight of Coins does bring a hint to make sure you protect and nurture what you have.

Sometimes other people can get jealous, envious and in the mood for a wee bit of sabotage. Sometimes this isn’t even necessarily mean or ill-intentioned, more like meddling for mischief’s sake.

Take whatever others say, or do, regarding your closest relationships with a healthy pinch of salt.

You know who you can trust, you have built some rock-solid bonds and they will last… don’t let anyone rattle that faith in those you love most.

Capricorn (Ace of Swords, Knight of Cups, Death)

Honesty leads to change

A revelation shared with someone close to you, this week, brings about the start of big changes.

The Ace of Swords is the tarot’s “truth” card, showing open and honest dialogue, indeed maybe even quite heated and brutal dialogue… but the truth is better OUT than in.

The Knight of Cups reveals this relationship will not be damaged by what you both share to each other BUT, as revealed by the Death card, things will inevitably change, if not transform.

Wasn’t that kinda’ what you were itching for anyway, my friend? What made you open your mouth if not to provoke a response? Well, you’ll get one.

And there may be some things you scowl at, some things you don’t understand, but overall this change will unfold as a positive one.

In hindsight, you’ll look back at this week as a necessary turning point in making things work- for both of you, and your wider circle. Let the fun begin…

Aquarius (Seven of Wands, Three of Cups, Page of Coins)

Prioritise

You feel like everything and everyone is competing for your attention and affection this week, as shown by the combination of Seven of Wands and Three of Cups.

It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it makes you feel on edge as you know you’re short-changing someone inevitably, and you hate that.

But, Aquarius, you can’t take on all this work and activity and not expect to feel pressurised or spread thinly… and only you can really prioritise where you should focus.

The Page of Coins advises you to think about your longer-term future- what and who is in it? These people and activities are your priority, because they are the ones who will be with you for the long game.

You may have to let stuff go, loosen your deadlines, delegate some duties… but do so and you’ll feel much calmer and at ease with your life’s landscape and where you need to be.

Pisces (The Hermit, Three of Swords, Ten of Coins)

Tackle the issue

You’re a pretty private person and your home / family / nest are your most precious assets in this life.

And there’s something going on at home which is unsettling you. The Three of Swords shows this intruder / invasive situation / unwelcome input… and that your duty now is to surgically remove it from your world.

The Hermit shows this is a personal and private endeavour, it may even relate to a mindset or belief which is proving to be damaging or self-limiting and only you can change it.

Whatever the battle, the scene is set this week to face down and conquer this once and for all.

And, Pisces, rest assured that on the other side is the resumption of your happy home and wellbeing, as shown by the stable and loving Ten of Coins.

This is a glitch, face into it, sort it out, and move on.
