In an Instagram story the 28-year-old, from Essex, told her fans she planned to use it, saying "I'll give this one a go" - seemingly not realising that the perineum separates the anus and vagina.

She was left red-faced after then Googling the writing on the bottle.

In her first message she told her fans: "I've got a little collection [of oils and creams] going on, I've been giving bump a little massage.

"These are all different skin and stretch marks creams.

"I've been told these are really good for your skin.

"This is my collection I've got so far."

Then she picks up the perineum cream: "I might give this one a go tonight. It increases skin elasticity.

"Dunno what it smells of, but I will give that one a go"

She subsequently admitted her error.

"I've just realised what it is," she laughs. "I didn't realise what that word was, but I've just put it into Google."

She added that she'd inundated with "laughing emojis" in her DMs. "I've Googled that word now and jeez."

Showing her husband, she asked: "Where do you think that goes?"

He looked and said, "downstairs," to which she replied "I know... I was just testing you... I was going to spread it all over my stomach!"

The oil is typically used to improve skin elasticity in your nether region before birth.

Sophie’s cleaning tips are so popular that fans have rushed to buy products she uses, including her favourite Minky sponge and the sell-out Zoflora.
