I’m 67 but my sexy calendar Valentine’s Day gift is better than Viagra for my husband (and other women should do the same)
WHILE most women who have been married for almost five decades might be forgiven for ignoring Valentine's Day – that isn’t the case for OAP Suzy Monty.
The Cornwall-based pensioner - and Britain's oldest glamour model - has hit upon a novel idea to tickle the fancy of her 71-year-old husband John, and it's far from the traditional card or a slap-up dinner.
Instead Suzy, 67, has created a calendar for John full of snaps of her posing in barely-there bikinis.
"Since I retired from my office job I've worked as a mature model and my career has really taken off," says Suzy. "I may be in my 60s but feel super sexy and I wanted to prove it!"
Suzy and John have been married for 45 years, but she says that their sex life is still healthy, admitting they often 'can't keep our hands off one another'.
It was for this reason that she wanted to give John a cheeky keepsake as a souvenir to remind him that she has still got it.
'He doesn't need Viagra with me around'
While John and Suzy say they enjoy a fumble in the local fields and even like to indulge in some costume play at home, normally Valentine’s Day is spent having a romantic walk following by a pub lunch.
Suzy adds: "Every year we do celebrate the day. It’s important to remind one another how much you love them. But now I can remind John each month with the calendar too.
"I feel liberated when I’m in front of the camera. I truly believe sexy pictures that tease rather than reveal everything are the key to a happy marriage.
"John does get turned on when he sees the shoots I have been involved with. Now he has got a permanent reminder!
"We’d never send naked selfies to one another online – I don’t even have a mobile phone! But John definitely doesn’t need to resort to Viagra, porn or sexting with me around!
"I’ve always dressed to impress and looked after my body. I do like to show off my va-va-voom figure! That’s why I do some modelling on the side – just to top up my pension."
Suzy - who has retained her 36B bust and size 10 figure - regularly poses for local amateur photographers ‘for a bit of fun'.
At the end of 2018 she had so many photos that she went through the images and came up with the idea of an unforgettable present for her hubby.

"I sat down and looked at all the sexy shots I’d been lucky enough to have taken of me over the last year and that’s when I hit upon the idea of creating a calendar for John," she admits.
"I know a sexy bikini-clad calendar is normally something the likes of only Kelly Brook or Rita Ora pose for and publish for their fans. But I’ve only got one life, so why not!
"Everyone has been very complimentary about my modelling and are normally staggered when they realise how old I am. Their positive feedback gave me the confidence to go for it.
"But I’ve never been daring enough to do a calendar of my own. After all who buys calendars of pensioners? But I thought to heck with it.
"I sent the pictures off to a publishing company and was amazed when they said they’d print it for me for free! I live on a pension – money is tight. I was thrilled with their offer."
Suzy reckons more women her age should strip off and she hopes that by sharing her calendar she will encourage them to do the same.
She says: "I want to give positive vibes to other women over 60. Why shouldn’t we celebrate our bodies? Who is to say a bikini shoot is for younger women only?
"Yes it’s important for all women to be beautiful on the inside, but why not celebrate what’s on the outside too? It’s an important message to give other 60-something women.
"I’m 68 in April, I’ve never had plastic surgery, I’ve never dyed my hair and I wouldn’t dream of using hair extensions either. I think I look fabulous and John does too."
'I've included his favourite sexy snap'
Suzy has been careful to ensure she has included John’s favourite picture of her in the calendar as a special touch for Valentine's Day.
"I know John will be looking to see if the picture of me holding the American flag is included," she says. "It’s on the back of the calendar.
"John was present at the shoot last summer, which was done on a local Cornish beach. He even assisted holding the reflector board to capture the 'golden' hour of light before the sun sets."
The calendar arrived from Canada on Tuesday 12 February – just in time for Suzy to present it to John in bed on the morning of Valentine’s Day.
