CHEESED OFF

Seemingly-innocent moment between new dad eating cheesecake with his baby infuriates mum

BEING a parent isn’t easy and dads often come up with inventive hacks to help them survive.

This is certainly true of new parent Jamie Pollard, from Leeds, who was photographed by his outraged partner using their baby as a human table to eat his cheesecake off.

Jamie can be seen relaxing on the sofa cuddled up with little Chester in his arms.

It may appear to be a sweet picture, but if you look closely, Jamie has balanced his dessert plate on his baby’s back.

Furious mum Elisabeth Henson shared the image to Facebook and her rant has racked up over 40,000 shares.

She captioned the post: “Imagine spending £15 on a clear blue test to find out you’re pregnant, spending nine months growing your beautiful baby, enduring morning sickness, sciatica and stretch marks, giving birth and having him absolutely destroy everything on the way out, tearing, being injected, being sewn up, having your placenta pulled out with tongs with no pain relief or numbing and getting up every single night with him since he was born…

“For him to be used as a f**king Cheesecake Table that you can buy from B&M for £3.50.”

The images clearly struck a chord with parents, and numerous people tagged their partners in the post.

One person wrote of “table baby” Chester: “Not all heroes wear capes”, and another said: “I’m so sorry I’m crying with laughter.”

Another added that babies do “have a use” and some praised Jamie for “taking daddy and son time seriously”.

Poor little Chester!
