DOMESTICATED DUCHESS

‘Grounded’ Meghan Markle cooks Prince Harry ‘lovely meals’ every day – despite having lots of staff, pals reveal

Friends say the duchess is a regular in the kitchen of her 'small, cosy' royal abode

IT'S no secret that Meghan Markle is a foodie - not only was she nicknamed "the avocado on toast whisperer" recently, but let's not forget she also got engaged to Prince Harry over a roast chicken.

It is unsurprising then that one of her close pals has revealed this week that Meg "cooks for Harry every day" in their "cosy" cottage.

According to a friend speaking to , the 37-year-old is a regular in the kitchen.

Describing Meghan and Harry's royal abode, the pal said: “It’s small and she’s made it cosy, but the perception of their lifestyle and the reality are two different things.

"Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day.

"We had a couple of days together recently."

The close pal also revealed that Meg "loves feeding" her guests, something that hasn't changed since the former actress became a royal.

"In the room she made up for me, there was a candle lit by the bed, slippers and a robe," the pal continued.

"She made the most lovely meals. She made tea every day.

"It was raining and muddy outside, so the dogs got all dirty, and she’s wiping them off with towels.

"How much she loves her animals, how much she loves her friends, how much she loves feeding you, taking care of you — none of that has changed.”

One friend added: "She and Harry are both very grounded."

When Harry and Meghan first announced their engagement in November 2017, the couple gave a glimpse into their home life.

Having a cosy night in, Meghan explained: "[We were] trying to roast a chicken and it just - just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic.

"He got on one knee."

It comes after a number of Meghan's friends - who have remained anonymous - spoke to the US publication to "speak the truth" about the friend they know and love.

One silenced the claims that Meghan had insisted on St George's Chapel being sprayed with air fresheners ahead of the Royal Wedding, while another spoke about the duchess' religion.

The friend explained faith has played a huge part in her "isolating" and "challenging" lifestyle.

Earlier this week, we told you Meghan puts PORRIDGE on her face to give her skin a youthful glow.

We also revealed one man’s bonkers claim that he’s Charles and Camilla’s secret son… and he "has the pictures to PROVE it".

And we showed you the moment Meghan caught her breath as her baby seemed to kick during a kitchen visit with Harry.
