A WOMAN with cystic acne has revealed the amazing foundation she uses to cover up her blemishes.
Abbie Bull - who has been called "brave" for showing off her bare skin on Instagram - unveiled the make-up she uses to conceal her spots in a series of skin-positive YouTube videos.
In a recent video on , the mum hailed Huda Beauty's #FauxFilter Foundation, £32, as the secret to her "insane" transformation.
Using shade Crème Brulée, she can be seen using it to successfully cover her cystic acne - which leaves sufferers with large, red, and painful breakouts deep beneath the skin.
Abbie has shown off her incredible 'before' and 'after' make-up looks on her social media.
She revealed bare-faced in another clip posted to YouTube that her followers had called her "brave".
Abbie, whose breakouts started on her face and back when she was 15 years old, said: "People tell me I'm so brave and say 'how can you go outside?' But I've been there."
She revealed: "I've had spots that were on my face for months.
"They really, really got me down. And hurt. Even when I was eating, when I was talking.
"Sometimes I would skip meals because eating just hurt that much. It got to me."
The make-up fan - who has tried every tablet and cream around to clear her acne - said how sometimes her skin would be too "sore" to apply make-up at all.
Of one occasion where she had to go to work and see her colleagues for the first time without make-up, Abbie explained: "The spots on my chin were breaking and bleeding."
She continued: "I was terrified. I thought they would think I was ugly. That I don't wash my face. All these things were going through my head."
But then a customer told her she needed to eat more fruit and vegetables, causing her to burst out crying.
She said: "I thought I was disgusting to look at.
"It took me a few days to bring myself back from that.
"I was so down and grumpy and agitated because of my skin. That's not the person I wanted to be.
"I wasn't going out as much. Stayed in the house."
Abbie added: "Why should I feel belittled because I have acne or feel judged when I leave the house?"
She continued: "Be kind on yourself. Be happy and enjoy life."
