HER days of late nights out dancing may be over now she is a royal with a little one on the way - but Meghan Markle's favourite London nightclub is not what you'd expect.
When just a tourist to the UK back in 2014, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she liked to head to a famous "sweaty, grungy" Soho club filled with "red-lipped tough birds" that was where you came to "dance, not to be seen or to people watch".
In a post on her now-defunct blog The Tig titled 'Insiders Guide To London', Meghan, 37, recommended a particular night held at the club St Moritz on Wardour Street every Thursday - - for a fun night out.
The then-Suits actress wrote: "The oldest ongoing club in London, this place is sweaty, grungy and happening every Thursday night, late night.
"They play a mix of rock’a’billy, reggae and ska. You come here to dance, not to be seen or to people watch.
"The crowd is a mix of regulars in their zoot suits, teenagers channelling Jim Morrison, red lipped tough birds in tight corsets and other randoms that pepper the evening with strange encounters and lots of laughs. Don’t wear heels."
According to its website, Gaz's is the longest-running one-nighter club in the capital, and takes place every Thursday from 10pm to 3.30am.
It was founded on 3rd of July 1980 - a year before Meghan was born - and was held at Gossip's on Dean Street until November 1995 when it transferred to its current venue.
The night is hosted by Gaz Mayall, son of Blues legend John Mayall, who occasionally plays live with his ska band The Trojans, and artist Tracey Emin was once a cloakroom attendant.
Entry is £9 or if Meghan and Harry get there before 11pm, it's £7 - however, it is unclear the last time the Duchess popped by for a boogie.
It's certainly a far cry from her new Kensington Palace home, former Mayfair haunts and Notting Hill-based meetings.
Meghan is expecting her first child with the Duke of Sussex in late March or early April.
Earlier this week, a former royal editor, branded her family "tacky" and likened them to the "Jerry Springer Show".
Duncan Larcombe targeted pregnant Meghan's father Thomas and half-sister Samantha in a new interview with series.
The journalist - who is also author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story - said: "They have reduced the commentary of the Royal family to something from the Jerry Springer Show, you know it's tacky."

However, he said that Doria - who separated from Meghan's father when she was six - had acted perfectly both before and after her 37-year-old daughter's wedding to Prince Harry last year.
"She's maintained a dignified silence, she has done everything right," he explained.
