The NTAs started off back in 1995 and winners are decided on the general public's voting.
Dermot O'Leary is hosting tonight's show at The O2 Arena, with Love Island winners Jack and Dani presenting from the red carpet.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Eamonn Holmes in 1995, but Sir Trevor McDonald took over in 1996.
After 13 years of presenting the show, he passed on the baton to Dermot in 2010.
Not all the stars hit all the right notes.
Singer Pixie Lott always nails her look, but tonight her clashing pink and orange suit could have been left in the wardrobe.
Love Island's Zara McDermott's hair and make-up looked very glam, but her long floral dress was a bit OTT for the chic event.
On the other end of the spectrum, actress Daisy Head played it a bit too safe, in a plain, long dress that fell to the ground.
Lizzie Cundy risked busting out of her strapless dress that appeared to be slipping down.
Corrie star Brooke Vincent looked beautiful in yellow, but her shapeless co-ord ensemble could have done more for her.
TV host Kate Silverton opted for a full checked dress that wasn't very flattering.
Meanwhile EastEnders' Jessie Wallace went for a black midi dress that didn't stand out on the stylish red carpet.
