Fashion Nova is selling jeans bizarrely modelled by an EGG – but would you shell out for them?
The fashion brand is taking style tips from Instagram's most popular picture
AS the humble egg overtook Kylie Jenner to hold the record for most liked photo on Instagram, Fashion Nova decided to use one as a model.
The online retailer is known for selling risqué items, but their latest post is fairly tame in comparison.
Posting a photo to , the company used a photo of an egg wearing a pair of jeans to flog its clothing.
They captioned the post: “If You Wanna Get Laid, Fashion Nova Jeans Make Your Booty Look Eggs-tra Fat.”
And they tried to get in on the latest Insta-hype, adding: “Let’s Scramble the World Record And Make This The Most Liked Picture On Instagram.”
The photo has received 292k likes and thousands of comments – but most people are confused over the post.
One person wrote “This is stupid”, while another called it the “weirdest ad ever.”
This person said: “No one likes an egg that much.”
Another commented: “Couldn’t you figure out a better description? Wtf.”
A third wrote: “I’m just mad this egg is more famous and thicker than me.”
This person agreed, saying: “This egg got a smaller waist than me.”
Fans of the egg, one person said: “How does this egg have ass.”
And this person said: “Lmao that poor model got photoshopped out for an egg. Time to retire honey.”
