HAZZA’S DAD BOD DETOX

How Meghan Markle has whipped Prince Harry into shape with yoga and ban on booze and cigarettes

MEGHAN Markle’s body is going through some intense changes due to her pregnancy.

And Prince Harry seems determined to undergo a transformation of his own with a daddy detox that’s seen him quit cigarettes and booze and take up yoga.

The once hard-partying prince had ditched the burgers and booze in favour of a clean-eating lifestyle to support Meghan ahead of her due date in April.

So as Harry, 34, prepares for perhaps the greatest challenge of his life so far we look as how he’s shaping up for fatherhood.

Harry has been looking leaner and bright-eyed during his recent appearances.

And Royal Family insiders believe this change could all be down to him taking up yoga, meditation and increasing his exercise.

On a visit to Birkenhead this week, Harry told Buddhist monk Kelsang Sonam that he practises meditation “every day”.

Meghan's mum Doria Ragland is a yoga instructor, so the Duchess will know how great the discipline can be for both (pregnant) body and mind.

One unnamed friend of Harry told the Express: "All [Meghan] did was show him there's another way to live and he's become a huge fan.

"He eats well, doesn't poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier."

Meghan and Harry are even said to be building a "floating" yoga studio at their new home in Windsor, royal sources have claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex - who is expecting her first baby in spring - has requested Frogmore Cottage in Windsor be kitted out with its own mother-and-baby yoga room complete with a "floating" floor.

Meghan is understood to enjoy vinyasa yoga and hot yoga and used to regularly post snaps to her social media.

It’s no secret that Harry and Meghan are foodies - after all, the prince did propose "over a roast chicken".

The happy couple even served up “dirty burgers” at their wedding and let's not forget the time Prince Harry "stole" a samosa from the Grenfell cookbook launch.

But it appears as though the pair are trying to “eat clean” as they prepare for parenthood.

Meghan is even said to have encouraged Harry to go vegan and follow her views on hunting.

One royal insider has revealed Prince Harry is eating "less meat and more fruit and veg" since marrying Meghan.

“Meghan is a keen animal lover and likes to eat vegan during the week and she has a strict no-fur policy," the insider told The Mirror.

"She has also been encouraging Harry to eat less meat and more fruit and veg and is now keen to fully convert him to her views on hunting.”

Meghan reportedly banned Prince Harry from drinking booze and tea as part of a New Year health kick.

The Duchess of Sussex persuaded hubby Harry to replace alcohol and caffeine with still mineral water, according to the Express.

This marks a seismic shift from the party animal prince often photographed with a beer in hand.

And Meghan will no doubt appreciate the support from her partner.

This week Meghan politely declined the offer of a cup of coffee, cradling her baby bump and saying: "I can't at the moment, sadly, but I can have a mint tea or something."

Expectant mums are advised to keep caffeine consumption down.

Back in March, Meghan is said to have persuaded Harry to quit smoking.

Technically, this happened before the ex-Suits actress fell pregnant.

But at the time, it was a clear sign that Harry was gearing himself up for married life.
