Mum rants about PrettyLittleThing jumpsuit that reveals extreme sideboob saying ‘if I wanted to wear tooth floss, I’d have contacted Colgate’

Samantha Ross, 29, from Nottingham, said she was 'extremely disappointed' with the retailer – and not for the first time

A MUM posted a hilarious rant online after receiving an outfit she ordered from PrettyLittleThing which she described as “tooth floss”.

Samantha Ross, 29, from Nottingham, posted a picture of herself wearing the poorly-made jumpsuit , claiming she was “extremely disappointed” with the retailer – and not for the first time.

On the model, the jumpsuit appears to be made from a loose fabric with black straps draped across her arms.

But on Samantha, the outfit is figure-hugging and barely covers her boobs.

Samantha, who works as a property appraisal manager and gave birth six months ago, pointed out the distinctive differences between the two garments.

She wrote: “So PrettyLittleThing once again your quality and like-for-like garments have yet again fooled me.

“I ordered item ‘A’ expecting to look like the goddess that’s wearing it, feel flattered and ‘shaped’ just like the item description said on your website.

“Instead I was sent something that does not look anything like the item description at all, the fabric and style is completely different.

“Being six months post-pregnant, I chose ‘shape’ and it seemed that the garment would hug my figure in the right places, however the only thing this item will be shaping and hugging is its bag it was delivered in right back to your store.

“If I wanted to wear tooth floss I would’ve just contacted Colgate. I’m extremely disappointed in your garments yet again.”

The mum-of-one told how she had ordered the jumpsuit for her partner Jack’s surprise birthday party last Saturday.

She hoped it would hide her “kangaroo sack” which she has had since giving birth to daughter Zara.

Samantha explained: “I’ve got a little kangaroo sack on the front so I just thought the only way I am going to get rid of the sack is if I wear Bridget Jones’ pull-up-pants or I am going to wear a loose jumpsuit.”

But when she put it on, she realised it wasn’t even close to what she’d had in mind.

“I thought, ‘What is happening? What is this?’ It looked like a swimming costume!” she said.

Samantha is yet to receive a response from PrettyLittleThing and has sent the item back for a refund.

Despite no response from PLT, Samantha has received plenty of support from her Facebook friends with some of them describing it as “mankini”.

Amy Louise Walker said: “PLT are absolute p*** takers... I ordered some coral wide leg split trousers... ordered a 10 I swear girl they are like parachute pants. They go up and come straight back down.

“No idea who they are made for! They could cover your buzzoms they are that high.”

Jo McGugan added: “Oh mate. I bought a dress for New Year and it didn’t even cover my nips. Absolute show of a website.”

And Levi Oliver wrote: “LMFAO classic PLT.”

PrettyLittleThing has been contacted for comment.
