Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new Windsor home will have a ‘floating’ family yoga studio
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are building a "floating" yoga studio at their new home in Windsor, royal sources have claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex - who is expecting her first baby in spring - has requested Frogmore Cottage in Windsor be kitted out with its own mother-and-baby yoga room complete with a "floating" floor.
According to the , the couple are ripping up the Victorian floorboards in one area of their new home and replacing them with a "sprung" floor which is often used in yoga and dance studios.
The former Suits actress is a life-long yoga fan (her mother Doria Ragland is even a trained instructor) and is believed to have introduced Prince Harry to the practice.
Discussing her passion for yoga and plans for the new home studio, a source told the publication: "It has brought calmess to her life.
"Meghan has kept up her own routine during pregnancy and many experts say gentle stretching is highly beneficial for babies too."
While details of the extensive renovations have remained firmly under wraps, the family studio will allow both Prince Harry and Meghan to enjoy yoga sessions with their child.
The source claimed that Harry has been "very supportive" of his wife's plans for the home and has even "worked with her in her yoga" sessions.
Last year, The Sun exclusively revealed that Prince Harry will be splitting from older brother William and setting up home in the grounds of Windsor Castle with Meghan Markle.
The couple are expected to move into the 10-bedroom house before the birth of their first child in spring.
