Jameela Jamil wears JEANS on the Golden Globes red carpet because she ‘refuses to be cold for fashion’

THE Golden Globes Awards 2019 kicked off in style this evening - and one star who looked stunning on the red carpet was Jameela Jamil who opted for a coral gown by Monique Lhuillier.
And while the dress might be made from several layers of gorgeous pink tulle, Jameela added an extra item of clothing underneath to avoid the chill.
Braving the January temperatures, Jameela took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she had added a pair of jeans underneath her designer gown.
"Wearing jeans under my gown because I refuse to be cold for fashion," she wrote, flashing a glimpse of her blue denim.
It's the 32-year-old's first time at the Golden Globes and the star couldn't contain her excitement as she prepared to walk the red carpet.
And fans couldn't get enough of her gorgeous gown, with several gushing about the style on social media.
One commented on her Instagram snap: "Never seen anyone rock a strapless dress as beautifully as you" while another said: "Love that you are wearing jeans underneath haha legend."
Jameela - who also revealed she had done her own make-up at tonight's awards - also wore a Time's Up ribbon.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she wrote: "Celebrating @timesupnow effort to double the amount of women and minorities at the helm of Hollywood and the height of all women industries."
