Meghan may decide against Kate's £7,500-a-night private Lindo Wing suite for Frimley Park Hospital, as it's closer to Frogmore Cottage
THE Duchess of Sussex may turn down the £7,500-a-night private Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital for the much more basic Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.
Meghan is said to be eyeing up the maternity unit at the NHS-run hospital as it's closer to their new Windsor pad - but it's worlds apart from the five-star birthing experience Kate had.

A royal source previously told the : "If their Royal Highnesses have moved to Frogmore Cottage before the birth, as planned, Frimley Park may be a more easily accessible option than St Mary’s."
St Mary's is 23 miles away from Windsor, whereas Frimley Park is located just 15 miles away and is where Sophie, Countess of Wessex, had a C-section with daughter Lady Louise.
While Bookies have slashed the odds of Meghan giving birth in Surrey - with Ladbrokes offering 5/6 on Frimley Park, followed by the Lindo Wing at 4/1.
The Lindo Wing offers mums-to-be the chance to indulge in afternoon tea, lavish menus and bottomless champagne to celebrate the birth.
En suite bathrooms at the plush wing are stocked with toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and lotions, and rooms come with satellite TV, WiFi, a sofa for guests and magazines for your stay.
Meanwhile, the large labour ward at Frimley Park, which doesn't offer private care for maternity patients, is certainly more on the basic side.
There are 14 labour rooms available on the general ward, which saw 5,350 births from April 2016 to April 2017.
Women with uncomplicated deliveries tend to stay for around six to 12 hours after birth, and unless there are special circumstances, partners are asked to leave overnight.
Private postnatal rooms are available for £100-a-night - way less than the Lindo Wing's £7,500-a-night price tag - and they don't currently come with en suite facilities.
Alternatively, Meghan could opt to stay in one of the four birthing rooms in The Mulberry Birth Centre, which is more of a “homely environment” where the focus is on “birth without medical intervention”.
There are no deluxe birthing packages here, and rooms don't come with TVs or fancy wine menus.
The Mulberry Birth Centre does have mood-changing lights and a pool room available, should Meghan wish.
Active birthing is encouraged, and rooms come with a bed, chair, a bean bag and an exercise ball available to assist labour.
Meghan could bring her own music, as CD players and docking stations are available to help mums-to-be create a personal environment.
The Mulberry Centre was refurbished and opened in 2015, with Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, doing the honours.

Mum Ana Klemencic Cabuk, of Richmond, revealed to Fabulous what giving birth was like at Kate Middleton's Lindo Wing.
Her six-night stay there cost her around £10,000 and she likened the wing to a five-star hotel.
Ana, who is originally from Croatia and works in HR, explained: “Everything was nice and clean, and the bathroom had a good selection of toiletries and cosmetics – shampoos, conditioners, body lotions.
“You choose your food from the menu; you have a few options and every day they came and asked what my husband, Serdar, 38, and I would like."
