Well just when you've put off washing your bedding to the point where it's getting a little gross, M&S goes and launches a new smart duvet which doesn't even need a cover.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Available in single to super king sizes, this new type of duvet boasts its own soft microfibre cover which means you'll never need to change the bedding again.

According to the M&S website, this innovative duvet - currently available in navy, light grey and orange - "doesn't require any additional covers while a 4.5 tog rating keeps cool throughout the warm summer months."
