AS self-confessed coach potatoes, there's nothing we love more than curling up in our warm cosy bed by 9pm every evening.

But if there's one thing we find fault with about our blissful beds, it's the dreaded chore of having to change our duvet cover. Right?

  • Supremely Washable 4.5 Tog Duvet, £32.50 from M&S -

Well just when you've put off washing your bedding to the point where it's getting a little gross, M&S goes and launches a new smart duvet which doesn't even need a cover.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Available in single to super king sizes, this new type of duvet boasts its own soft microfibre cover which means you'll never need to change the bedding again.

According to the M&S website, this innovative duvet - currently available in navy, light grey and orange - "doesn't require any additional covers while a 4.5 tog rating keeps cool throughout the warm summer months."

What's more, you can even get the chore of washing out of the way in a matter of hours as the duvet has been designed for "quick and easy laundering, meaning it can be washed and dried within a single day."

And the duvet's polyester filling leaves it feeling incredibly soft all the while.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more convenient, right?
