PACK IT IN

Backpacks that are SO big an actual human can fit inside them are the first bonkers fashion trend of 2019

The brand say they can also be used as a second wardrobe

2018 gave us some very bizarre fashion trends - and it looks like 2019 is set to be no different.

It seems the latest fashion fad is giant, human-sized backpacks - and we are baffled.

The - are getting a lot of hype in Japan and are currently on sale at Japanese retailer, Plywood.

According to the brand, the rucksacks - named "Backpacker's Closet" - are perfect for camping and ideal for the storage of clothes.

They even suggest using the backpacks as an alternative wardrobe - and at 180L and 100cm, they're certainly big enough.

The backpacks are available in three different colours: beige, olive and black.

Naturally, they're more expensive than standard rucksacks and are priced at around £190 - before shipping from Japan.

And while some people might end up using the backpack as a second wardrobe - or for storage - the brand say they are actually designed to be used as a bag.

At 1.6kg, a third, middle strap has been added to reduce stress on the back and shoulders.

There's also padding for extra comfort.

The backpacks have been hugely popular online - especially in the sandy beige colour - which means they're sadly sold out.
