LET'S be honest - the moment it's socially acceptable to start playing Christmas music and whip out our cringeworthy reindeer jumpers, we've probably already watched Love Actually about five times.
But despite knowing the Crimbo classic practically off by heart, fans are now debating whether one of the film's most heart-wrenching scenes actually features a HUGE plot hole.
The moment when Harry (played by Alan Rickman) gives on-screen wife Emma Thompson a CD instead of the necklace she is expecting is already one of the film's most talked about scenes.
After all, Karen has already found the expensive piece of jewellery, which ends up exposing her husband's affair with his colleague Mia.
However, one fan has pointed out that - as a die hard Joni Mitchell fan of over 20 years - Karen would already have the album Both Sides Now in her collection.
Taking to Twitter to voice their frustration, the user @heyspacebones wrote: "The worst part of Love Actually is when [Alan Rickman] gives Emma Thompson who has clearly been a fan of Joni Mitchell for a least 20 years Both Sides Now - as if she would not already own that record."
In other words, Harry's gift is now even more thoughtless than we first thought.
Unsurprisingly, the observation has sparked heated debate among fans of the film.
One user aptly wrote: "He probably forgot because he was busy thinking about having an affair."
Another added: "It's so stupid, as if you can be a lifelong fan of Joni without hearing or owning her two most famous albums."
A third agreed: "I've always thought that. Even if she didn't know about the necklace, I would still go to my room and cry with disappointment."
However, others were quick to jump to writer Richard Curtis' defence - and insisted Harry's oversight was a key part of the plot.
One Love Actually superfan wrote: "Is that not the point? It wasn't the necklace, it was a record she probably owns. Shows how much he cared..."
Meanwhile, a second chimed in with: "I assumed that was partly the point of his character. He hardly knew her."
What's more, another keen music fan wrote: "To be fair, it is the acoustic version, not the standard one..."
