Most people don’t buy denture tablets until their older years, but this woman found an unlikely use for Polident.

She mixed three tablets with some warm water in a spray bottle to transform her dirty couch and yellow-stained tiles.

After letting the solution soak in for five minutes, she then scrubbed the sofa “hard” with a dish wash brush – using a towel to absorb the dirty water.

The mum then repeated this trick until the towel stopped picking up extra grime.

She wrote: “It has come out great. Our sofa is about five or six years old and this is the first time we’ve cleaned it.”

The mum used three bottles of water and nine tablets in total to make her sofa look as good as new.

She used to same trick to shift stains from her white tiled floor.

Other mums have tried it before too, agreeing it had “done a great job”.
