Heartbroken Thomas Markle asked ex Doria Ragland why their daughter Meghan ‘won’t speak to me’

EVER since she married into the Royal Family earlier this year, Meghan Markle's troubled relationship with her estranged father has been thrust into the spotlight.
But now Thomas Markle, 74, has revealed he turned to ex-wife Doria Ragland for help reconnecting with his daughter... and even asked why Meghan "won't speak to me".
He said: "I have sent several texts. Her number hasn't changed and they haven't bounced back.
"I've pleaded with her to pick up the phone. I wrote a two-page letter and sent it by certified mail via her representative in Los Angeles."
But after being continually ignored by his daughter, Thomas has now turned to ex-wife Doria Ragland for help.
Describing the lengths he's gone to in an attempt to mend the relationship, Thomas added: "I even hand-delivered a letter to Doria asking why our daughter won't speak to me."
Accusing Harry and Meghan of putting up a "wall of silence", Thomas added: "I have been frozen out and I can't stay silent."
While Thomas was unable to attend his daughter's Windsor wedding in May, Doria was the only member of Meghan's immediate family to be there and will even be spending Christmas with the Royals at Sandringham.
Describing Doria as her "best friend" back in 2017, Meghan has maintained an extremely close relationship with her mother since moving to the UK and Doria even came out to support her daughter's charity cookbook launch in September.
