Princess Diana’s gown bought at a second-hand shop for just £200 could sell for £100k at auction

A DRESS once owned by Princess Diana and later bought at a second-hand shop for £200 could sell for £100,000 next month.

The Princess of Wales gave the David Emanuel frock away after wearing it on a state visit to Bahrain in 1986.

It was bought by a shop assistant, who only recently realised its importance.

Auctioneer Kerry Taylor, of Bermondsey, South London, said: “It is in perfect condition and is a unique one-off piece.”
