BRITISH actress Jameela Jamil has filmed a spoof video mocking celebrities who promote detox teas and diet shakes on social media.
Just days after she blasted rapper Cardi B for flogging "nonsense detox tea" to her followers, Jameela posted a video which she claims represents "if influencers and celebrities were actually honest with us about some of these slimming/detox products."
Using the hashtag "#itburns", the Good Place actress filmed herself sipping on a made-up "supermodel shake" which she jokes helped her lose "35 lbs in three days" and given her "abs" even though she's "never done a day's exercise in my life."
Posing in a strapless yellow mini dress, the former Radio One DJ - who suffered with eating disorders as a teenager - can be heard fake farting in the background before sprinting off to the toilet.
The 45 second clip concludes with Jameela sitting on the toilet but insisting she's "still feeling amazing and super skinny".
Taking aim at celebrities and influencers who endorse weight loss supplements, the actress then directs followers to the "link in my bio" so they can buy the product - which Jameela then describes as "diarrhoea juice" - for themselves.
Sharing the satirical video with her 670,000 followers, the body positivity campaigner has been praised by fans for "calling out the BS" on social media.
Explaining what caused her to film the hard-hitting and hilarious video, Jameela said in her Instagram stories: "I can't have laxatives sold to young people without them understanding that what they're taking is f****ing laxatives. They just make you s***, that's it."
As a teenager, Jameela revealed that she "spent all her money on these miracle cures and laxatives" which were promoted by celebrities and has "had digestion and metabolism problems for life."
Earlier this week, the actress blasted Cardi B for promoting "nonsense detox tea" on social media and said she hopes the rapper "s***s her pants in public."
The Good Place star took to Twitter to voice her frustration with Cardi B's new collaboration with TeamiBlends in which the rapper claims the tea caused her to lose "more weight" than she wanted just four months after giving birth.
Calling out celebrities for promoting weight-loss supplements, the former Radio 1 DJ wrote: "They got Cardi B on the laxative nonsense detox tea.
"GOD I hope all these celebrities s*** their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do.
"Not that they actually take this s***. They just flog it because they need MORE MONEY."
As part of a promotional Black Friday video last week, the Bodak Yellow rapper posed in her underwear on the set of a music video and claimed she had relied on Teami to "help curb my appetite" and "get my stomach looking how it used to look when I was a stripper."
In a that has been liked more than 7,000 times, Jameela added: "If you want to curb your appetite eat some good damn green vegetables or have some nutritious natural vegetable soup. Don't drink these detox teas, you need fiber!"
"Not something that honestly just makes you have diarrhoea the day you take it and constipates you in the long run."
Accusing the rapper of knowing "nothing about nutrition/basic advertising ethics", Jameela concluded: "IF you want to get healthier, talk to a trainer/doctor."
