Princess Charlotte looks identical to Diana’s niece as Lady Kitty Spencer shares throwback pic of her first day at school
The snap bears an uncanny resemblance to the one from the three-year-old princess' first day at nursery
ROYAL fans have spotted an uncanny resemblance between Princess Charlotte and Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer, after she shared a throwback pic of her first day at school.
The 27-year-old model, from London, is the young princess' second cousin - and looks almost identical to the shot released by Kensington Palace on three-year-old Charlotte's first day of nursery.
Kitty, the daughter of Diana's brother Charles Spencer and Victoria Lockwood, shared the snap on Instagram on Thursday, captioned: "First day of school #tbt".
The black-and-white shot shows a four-year-old Kitty wearing a gingham dress, sweet white socks and black pumps.
Royal fans were quick to comment on the lookalike shot, writing: "You look like Princess Charlotte", and "I thought it was princess Charlotte for a moment".
Another follower commented: "I just thought palace released a new pic but then read the caption and name".
And a fourth said: "Princess Charlotte has the Spencer genes. You look so similar on this".
Others labelled the pair the "spit image" of each other.
