Bookies suspend betting on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry having TWINS after ‘abnormal’ number of bets

Paddy Power has even hinted an inside source may 'know something more than we do'

BOOKIES have suspended betting on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry having TWINS after an ‘abnormal’ number of bets.

Paddy Power said they were forced to take action after a flurry of wagers were placed on the royal couple welcoming two babies next year.

They say they have been forced to refuse to take any further bets with the price was as high as 5/1 before the suspension.

The bookmaker has even hinted an inside source may 'know something more than we do'.

A Paddy Power spokesman said: “An unprecedented amount of bets on Meghan and Harry to have twins has forced us to stop taking bets on the market altogether this morning.

“Since the day began, the stream of bets has led us to believe that perhaps the punters – or an insider source – knows something more than we do.”

And it actually could be likely Meghan is having twins due to science.

Due to Meghan's age she is more likely to have twins - or even triplets - than a woman still in her twenties.

Per royal protocol, the Queen reportedly has to be the first to know of the birth and the name of the child, however, both Prince Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, are free to choose their own name.

Diana still remains the favourite name for Prince Harry and Meghan’s child at 8/1, though Arthur has also been popular in the betting at 12/1.
