Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost THREE of their private staff in six months and experts say it’s ‘looking like a stampede’
There's been a swift set of departures since the Royal Wedding in May
WORKING for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might seem like the dream job, but the couple have already lost three close palace aides since their wedding six months ago.
The 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex's closest aide quit last week, with Kensington Palace insiders describing the move as a "shock", according to.
And the Duke and Duchess have lost three members of staff since Meghan joined the Royal Family in May, including two long-standing aides, with insiders likening it to a "stampede".
The departing PA, who's only known as Melissa, followed in the footsteps of Harry's right-hand man Edward Lane Fox out the doors of Kensington Palace.
Edward worked with Harry, 34, for five years before quitting this summer - with the Palace thanking the private secretary for his hard work helping to launch the Invictus Games and plan the Royal Wedding.
He was replaced by Samantha Cohen, a trusted Royal aide for 17 years, who is also now set to leave.
The Australian mum-of-three, who's originally from Brisbane, previously worked as the Queen's private secretary.
The 49-year-old has earned the nickname 'Samantha the Panther' for her feisty attitude - and is thought to have been pivotal in both planning the wedding and preparing Meghan for life as a Royal.
A Palace aide told the Mail it was a worrying trend, saying: "To lose one member of the household could happen to anyone.
"To lose three in a few months is starting to look like a stampede."
They added of Melissa's departure: "It's a real shock, why would she want to leave such a prestigious job so soon?"
The departures come after The Sun revealed the Queen warned Harry over Meghan's "difficult" behaviour in the run-up to the Royal Wedding.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson claims Harry told staff: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets” as they planned their big day.
Writing in Charles at 70, Robert said: “The message from the Queen was very much Meghan needed to think about how she speaks to staff members and be careful to follow family protocols.”
